We have been asked to do a Birthday Show at Duffy's Hangar. We very much feel Honored to do this show. They have invited everyone who wants to show up as well as very close friends. We're Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Writing new material and are planning on laying tracks very soon. Really enjoying the process and are looking forward to seeing what people think of the new songs.

Will not be at Trails End Friday the 8th, their was some scheduling problems for the Headliner, so the show was Cancelled and we didn't have any control over the booking so we couldn't alter the agreement with the Club. Wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for a really fun night, We had a great time. Mike and Becky always make us feel Really welcome. Also, Thanks Tony. We Definitely had a Rocking party! Really enjoyed chatting with everyone. Hung out with good friends, met new people, hung out with people we hadn't seen for a while, Played good music, got some of the Ladies in the crowd to dance with us on stage, got David Talmadge up to sing back-ups for us, Robyn Scott and Friends Rocked as hard as we did, even Let a Guy get up there to propose Marriage to his sweetheart. ( wish I had a photo of that! ) This is why we love playing the Mac Club, their's always something amazing happening there and some of the best people ever to hang out and chat with. Good times no Doubt about it! Looking forward to seeing everyone May 15th and 16th for UFO FEST! Hoping to make this UFO FEST one to Remember!!!!

Putting the Finishing Touches on the new Album. Looking forward to Releasing it very soon, With-in a month or so....Hope everyone likes it.

All the tracks, Guitars, Bass, Drums and Vocals for the new album have been Recorded! Whew!! Beginning the Mix and Master stage of our new album. Working really hard to have the best album possible. Everyone who has heard samples seem to really like what we have done. We're hopeful that our fans will love this album, we really put the work into it that's for sure. We really had a lot of fun putting it together too, but it's been the most work we've put into anything so far. Of course it will be Worth every ounce of effort we put into it as long as everything comes out as good as we're thinking it will. We're really excited about this album, Looking forward to hearing what people think of it and that should be Just Around the Corner!

We are getting all kinds of really nice compliments and information put out for us by people who have an interest in the band. It is greatly appreciated. We know you don't have to do anything for us and in many cases are doing it to get the word out. We never take anything anyone does for us for granted. Alien Recon is Looking forward to see you out there, Love playing live shows and definitely Love chatting with you for sure. Certainly feel free to tell people about Alien Recon. It really does help us out.

Hoping to have the next album finished and available soon. Nearly done tracking it. Looking forward to hearing a finished product and getting it in the hands of everyone who wants a copy and has been asking for it. Thanks again for all the really amazing comments and feedback. Thanks everyone for helping us climb past the top ten spot on reverbnation, we seem to be getting into the top ten on a lot of sites  lately, we Really appreciate all of  the support. Alien Recon Fans are the Best.

Sheridan Days are coming up!!! Going to be at Benny Hueys Saturday the 14th of June, come hang out with us. We always have a great time checking everything out and talking with all the cool people in Sheridan Oregon.  Sheridan days, as always Great Fun to be had by all.

UFO fest at the Mac Club was a BLAST!  Had a Great time with our friends and fans.  What more can be said.  So now it's back to the studio to continue our production of our latest CD.  We are still aiming for the end of summer for a release.  Stay tunned for all of the latest updates.

Will be uploading pix in the next day or so.

BREAKING NEWS

We have been working really hard on the new Album, we have all of the songs written have been laying tracks and have changed a few things. Should have a working title tomorrow and hope to have the album done before the end of summer. Have a lot going on. Should be doing shows again real soon. Very much looking forward to UFO Fest at the Mac Club May 17th. Always a really fantastic time to be had by all. We had an amazing time last year and plan to do so again this year. It's going to be really cool, what every you do don't miss this one. It's going to be a lot of fun for sure. We should have more shows coming up again for the Spring and Summer months that should be a lot of fun as well. Hope to see all of you out there again real soon. We have been locked away in the Studio for a really long time, so we're really looking forward to getting back out Live. Thanks everyone, the Support has been really amazing and you Rock for sure.

We Just wanted to put a big thank you out there to Mike and Becky for helping to make our week-end amazing. The show Rocked, the after party Rocked and everything was really cool.  Thanks to everyone, Family and Friends, who hung out with us, you made us feel really welcome!  Also a big Thank you to Malik for getting on stage with us and Kicking Ass, very Cool and last but not least, Thank you Storm for Rocking out with us, you Rocked it Bro. All of you are the reason we Love doing this.

Still Writing the last few songs for the upcoming album,  we want to make sure the album is as good as we can make it, Also getting ready to track some of the songs.  We're hoping this album is better than anything we have done in the past.

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!  Looks like some really cool things may be coming our way in 2014 hoping for the very best. Looking forward to getting our Latest album done. We always want to create the very best album possible, so we're working really hard on it. Really like how the songs have come together so far, so looking forward to releasing the album hopefully around the end of March/ first part of April. All of our very best to everyone for a really cool 2014...

Getting ready to go back to work on album 2, looking forward to putting this one together. We have, what we feel are some really cool songs to assemble for this album. Going to be a lot of work but we all think it is going to be worth it to put the extra effort in. Will keep you updated on it as we go.

We decided to rebuild and redesign www.alienrecon.com we had planned to do this but got the chance to do it a bit earlier so we took the time to redesign our site. Hope you like the changes, we sure do.

Our Cd is done and on it's way!!! We can't wait to see it.

In the months to come, we will be writing songs and laying tracks for our new album, as yet unnamed.  Have some decisions to make as to which songs to include.  We just keep writing new ones and have ones that we have written that we like as well.  I guess NOTHING is ever EASY.

We will be paying a surprise visit to Duffy's Hanger on Sunday night for the jam session.  Don't tell the club, but tell all of your friends.  Come hang out with us when we can spend some time with our fans!

We would like to dispell any rumors that we had anything to do with the Harley in the nightclub.  Again, NO we had nothing to do with it!

The Harley that got ridden through the club did NOT hurt anyone.  All's well that ends well!

Finally getting everything put together again after being forced to Change the name of the band, another band's Lawyer sent us a cease and desist notice. Our apologies for not looking into it a bit closer. We didn't know that there was another band named Plan 9 and certainly don't like making other people contact us with that kind of news. It's frustrating for both parties. Thus we went about the business of finding another name.  We're the same band with the same attitude just different name, and I can assure you we have worked hard to make it all legal like...
